Remember the young Parker who taught us how to make fun things like the ghost trap from Ghostbusters and the cheap severed leg effect? Well, he's definitely grown since then, and in his latest video he takes a more practical approach to DIY with a cheap and easy soft box for you home photography studio.
He calls it a light box, although the more accurate description would be a soft box, which disperses the light over a larger area making the image taken lighter and more even in effect. He uses foam poster-board, aluminum foil, hot glue, an old light socket, and an X-Acto knife. For the diffusion, he uses a plain white pillowcase.
